DETAIL ITINERARY
DAY 01: LUANG PRABANG ARRIVAL
Arrive in Luang Prabang, the ancient first capital of Lane Xang kingdom, the center of religious life in Laos and today the World Heritage City. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and free at your leisure to explore the city. Overnight at hotel in Luang Prabang.

DAY 02: LUANG PRABANG CITY TOUR
After breakfast at hotel, we take a sightseeing tour of the sacred city of temples, of which nearly fifty temples still remain in the town and surrounding areas. Visit Wat Visoun, the 16th century temple served as a small museum for religious artifacts; Wat Aham, the early 19th century temple, whose two guardian figures at the foot of the steps which represent two characters from the Ramayana - Hanuman, the Monkey God and a fierce Yaksa; Wat Xiengthong, the 16th century temple which, more than any temples in Luang Prabang, epitomizes all the elegance and grace of Luang Prabang architecture; Phousi Hill, the 328 steps leads to the summit of Phousi hill that dominates the sky-line of Luang Prabang overlooking the finest panoramic view in the whole Luang Prabang. DAY 03: LUANG PRABANG - PAK OU CAVE
Following breakfast, we depart hotel to the boat landing, and take the boat, upstream on the Mekong to visit Pak Ou cave in the side of a lime stone cliff and opposite of the mouth of the Mekong and Ou rivers. The sanctuaries at Pak Ou consist of two large caves, both repositories for thousands of Buddha images, which range from mere centimeter to two meters in height. En route, Lao typical villages are barely visible behind a screen of foliage. Slender canoes bobbing by the shore, bamboo poles and floats mark the location of nets and fish traps. Our first stop will be at Ban Muangkeo, a well-known village for Lao traditional rice whisky, namely Laoh-Khao to be distilled. We are welcome to taste it and also take away. Lunch is served at a riverside restaurant. We arrive back at Luang Prabang in late afternoon, and continue to drive outskirt of town to visit Ban Xangkhong, a well-known village for its wood paper making and also Lao silk weavings with natural dyes. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

DAY 04: LUANG PRABANG - KHUANG SI WATERFALL
A morning breakfast, before we take a drive (30 km South) to visit Khuangsi Waterfall, which, though not very high, is spectacular and really beautiful with its green surroundings as the preserved National park. We stop en-route, stop to visit a fresh produced market namely Talad Phosy, and also visit Ban Na Oune, a small village of a hill-tribe group “Hmong”, probably the best-known minority group in Laos. Just before arriving at Khuangsi waterfall, there is another village of Khmu minority group, namely Ban Tha Pane that we will visit. Our picnic lunch is served at the shady park nearby Khuangsi waterfall. There is plenty of time for relaxing and a swim in cool water, before we head back to Luang Prabang in the late afternoon. The rest of the day is spent by visiting various craft-shops, including silver smiths’ and also Hmong market in town, where some skilled embroidery-works of Hmong ladies can be seen. Overnight at hotel in Luang Prabang.

DAY 05: LUANG PRBANG - VANG VIENG
Breakfast at hotel. Leave Luang Prabang to Vang Vieng by a beautiful road with breathtaking views over the mountains and numerous possibilities for photos. Stop at Phoukhoune with its lively market. Stop on the way at Ban Houn Xay. Lunch at local restaurant via Kasi As you approach Vang Vieng district karstic cliffs covered by lush vegetation appear. Stop at Pathang for its dramatic view over karstic mountains. Take a small boat on Nam Song River for a tour amid beautiful scenery. Transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight in Vang Vieng.

DAY 06: VANG VIENG
After breakfast, we start our board on a local tractor through paddy field areas heading to Tham Phoukham caves, where your breath will be taken away seeing the most beautiful and famous limestone cavern, surrounded by natural forests. Along the way, you have chance to explore the local cultures by greeting the local villagers and learning about their daily lifestyle. There is a small natural pool in front of the caves where you can take a swim to refresh yourself from the hot climate or you could explore the nearby area. You will have a picnic lunch enjoying the scenery. After spending the day at the caves and its surrounding areas, we make our return to the Vang Vieng town, using local transportation or tractor. En route, we visit the ethnic minority villages of Hmong, Souay and Taidam villages meeting the warm and friendly hill tribe people and observing their traditional tribal costumes. Overnight in Vang Vieng.

DAY 07: VANG VIENG - VIENTIANE
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Tham Chang Cave with its stunning view over the valley. Drive to Vientiane, leave the karstic formations for the rich plain of the Mekong. Arrive in Vientiane at late afternoon, transfer to hotel for check-in and free at your leisure to explore the city. Overnight at hotel in Vientiane.

DAY 08: VIENTIANE CITY TOUR
After breakfast at hotel, we take a sightseeing tour of Vientiane, to visit religious museums of Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple to have been survived from the Siamese war of 1828 and its cloister contains more than 8000 Buddha statues; Wat Ho Prakeo, the former home-temple of the Emerald Buddha statue or Pra Keo, but today it contains a collection of Buddha statues, antiques and all artifacts found in around Vientiane; That Luang Stupa, Symbol  of Lao nation the single most important monument in Laos, which was built to cover the original small stupa containing a piece of the chest bone of Buddha; Patouxay (Arch de Triumph), built quite recently in commemoration of those who died during the wars in the past and it is today as the land-mark of Vientiane. Overnight in Vientiane.

DAY 09: VIENTIANE - BUDDHA PARK - VIENTIANE
After breakfast, we take a trip by road to outskirts of Vientiane, following the road along the bank of Mekong river to visit the Buddha park of Xieng Khuan, the park (28km East of Vientiane), containing a combination of hundred status of Hindu divinities and Buddha. En route, we stop looms their stilt houses. We drive pass villages on the bank of Mekong through beautiful views of vegetable garden, tobacco plantation … etc. It's nice make photo stops and see rural life of local people. We also have a nice view of the Mekong friendship Bridge as the border between Laos and Thailand after visiting then Buddha park, we return along another road back to Vientiane. Overnight at hotel in Vientiane.

DAY 10: VIENTIANE - SIEM REAP
After breakfast, transfer to airport flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival at Siem Reap, welcome with tour guide and then check in at hotel. Free at your leisure to explore the city. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

DAY 11: SIEM REAP - SOUTH GATE - ANGKOR WAT
After breakfast, visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom: the South Gate, the Bayon with 54 towers, each carved with four faces of the compassionate Boddhisattva, the nearby temple-mountain of Baphuon, the Royal Enclosure with the Phimeanakas temple, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Afternoon, transfer to visit Angkor Wat (early-mid 12th century) dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. This huge temple-mountain, built by King Suryavarman II, is considered as the masterpiece of Khmer architecture and art. Sunset from Phnom Bakeng Hill, offering an outstanding view over Angkor. Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 12: SIEM REAP - KBAL SPEAN - BANTEAY SREY
After breakfast, drive to the Kulen range and take a walk through the forest (45 minutes) to reach Kbal Spean,  the “River of 1.000 Lingas” where the symbol of the Hindu god Shiva has been repeatedly chiseled into the rocky riverbed. It was believed that the lingas spiritually fertilized the waters that irrigated the rice fields below. Afternoon, drive back to visit the famous temple of Bantey Srey “the Citadel of Women”. This small pink sandstone temple (late 10th century) is considered as the crown jewel of classical Khmer art with the delicate beauty of its carvings. Continue to Bantey Samre (mid 12th century) which has been admirably restored. Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 13: SIEM REAP - BATTAMBANG
After breakfast, drive to Battambang by overland which take around 4 hours. Upon arrival, you will pick up by our guide and driver, and then check in hotel. After a short rest, transfer to visit the Provincial Museum and enjoy a guided walking tour of the town center, filled with colonial architecture and Chinese shophouses and temples, then check in hotel. Overnight in Battambang.

DAY 14: BATTAMBANG
After breakfast, excursion to the mountaintop 11th century Angkorian temple of Phnom Banon, Then continue driving along the Sangker River through some beautiful countryside to reach Vat Slaket pagoda, the residence of the Buddhist Patriarch, and then visit Vat Ek Phnom temple (11th century). Return to Battambang. On the way, stop at a Prahoc market (prahoc is the Cambodian fermented fish paste). Overnight in Battambang.

DAY 15: BATTAMBANG - KAMPONG CHAM - UDONG - PHNOM PENH
After breakfast, drive towards Kompong Chhnang through the fertile rice fields of western Cambodia, renowned as the granary of the country. Visit the pottery villages around Kompong Chhnang, located at the confluence of Tonle Sap Lake and Tonle Sap River and whose name means “the Port of Pottery”. Then continue towards Phnom Penh. En route, stop at the abandoned royal city of Oudong (early 17th century) and visit the temples and stupas that cover the hills. Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, check-in at your hotel. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

DAY 16: PHNOM PENH CITY TOUR
After breakfast, visit Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum. And then visit Toul Sleng Genocide Museum, Russian Market and Independence Monument. And then visit the last excursion with Wat Phnom the landmark of Phnom Penh and which the city named after. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

DAY 17: PHNOM PENH - CHISO - TONLE BATI
After breakfast, excursion to Phnom Chisor to visit the pre-Angkorian Brahmin temple of Suryagiri (10-11th century) that sit on top of the hill (503 steps) and enjoy an outstanding view over the surrounding plains. Then visit a traditional silk weaving village. On the way back to Phnom Penh, stop at Prasat Neang Khmau, the temple of the Black Goddess, and then at Ta Prohm and Yeay Peau, two Angkorian temples built on the banks of Tonle Bati Lake. The way back, visit to the Killing Fields. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

DAY 18: PHNOM PENH - SIHANOUKVILLE
After breakfast, you will transfer to Sihanoukville (4 hours), Cambodia’s premier beach town along the Gulf of Thailand. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel. Rest of day at leisure to enjoy Sihanoukville’s white sand beaches and crystal clear sea. Overnight in Sihanoukville.

DAY 19 & 20: SIHANOUKVILLE FREE & EASY
Days free in Sihanoukville. Many vacation activities around town are related to the beaches. Swimming and sunning, trips to the islands, scuba diving, fishing, and snorkeling. Within town, there are many themed restaurants and bars owned by people from all over the world. Buddhist temples, mountain biking, walking around downtown and the central market, shopping, and seeing the Cambodian cultures are also popular activities. Overnight in Sihanoukville.

DAY 21: SIHANOUKVILLE - PHNOM PENH
After breakfast at hotel, you are free to swimming until transfer back to Phnom Penh. Hotel check-in and free at your leisure. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
