DETAIL ITINERARY
DAY 01: LUANG PRABANG ARRIVAL
Pick upon your arrival and transfer to your hotel, free at your leisure to explore the city. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

DAY 02: LUANG PRABANG
If you wish, get an early start (6:00am or so) and go watch or participate in the traditional Lao rite of Almsgiving to the monks. In the city, some 300+ monks file through silently collecting alms. This is an amazing sight and your guide will be on hand to demonstrate and explain this important ritual. Return to your hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, begin a Mekong River boat trip with your guide on the mighty Mekong River to visit the famous & sacred Pak Ou Buddha Caves. These caves, overlooking the confluence of the Mekong & Ou Rivers from on high, have been home to many thousands of Buddha images that were placed here by local people since 16th century, when King Setthathirat found the caves and declared them a holy spot. Today many still pay respect with this old tradition. Walk through the caves before returning to your boat and to Luang Prabang town. Enjoy lunch en route. Return to the hotel to relax or explore on your own. Luang Prabang is a wonderful walking town, and you can find dinner on your own at any number of fine international restaurants. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

DAY 03: LUANG PRABANG - XIENG KHUANG
Today, we make the days drive through wonderful natural scenery to Xieng Khuang. The journey will give you plenty of opportunities for photos and visiting hill tribe villages. Upon arrival, we transfer out to visit Site 1 of the Plain of Jars, an impressive archaeological site where hundreds of large stone jars are scattered all over the plateau. Overnight in Xieng Khuang.

DAY 04: XIENG KHUANG - VIENG XAY
Continue the trip to Vieng Xay - The former Pathet Lao (PL) revolutionary headquarters of Vieng Xay sit in a striking valley of fertile hills and limestone cliffs riddled with caves, several of which were used to shelter PL officers during the Second Indochina War. The town is famous for the caves in which the stoic officers and some 23, 000 people found shelter, but Vieng Xay itself is unbearably pretty. Manmade lakes spot the landscape and wildflowers explode in crimson and yellow to join the emerald and karst backdrop. The beauty of the terrain somehow underscores the decimation it suffered during the American bombing campaign. Overnight in Vieng Xay.

DAY 05: VIENG XAY - MAI CHAU (VIETNAM)
Beautiful ride on the village road and picturesque mountains to Na Neo border gate, continue to Mai Chau which is the heart of a beautiful valley that is a world away from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. The modern village is an unappealing sprawl, but as you emerge on the rice fields and rural living it is transformed into a real paradise. It’s a stunning area, and most people here are ethnic White Thai who are very friendly. Tonight, we stay in the homestay, this evening, enjoy the traditional musice and dance. Overnight in Mai Chau.

DAY 06: MAI CHAU - HANOI
Have breakfast at homestay and then transfer to Hanoi. On arrival, check-in hotel and free at your leisure to explore the city by your own. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

DAY 07: HANOI CITY TOURS
AM: Pick up at hotel. Drive to the historic complex of Ba Dinh. Visit Ba Dinh Square, where The Late President Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnams Independence on 2 September 1945, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and continue to theOne Pillar Pagoda, the must-see monument in Hanoi -  It is an ancient Buddhist pagoda, built in the early 11th century in the reign of King Ly Thai Tong, all construction supported by only one pillar, resembling a Buddhist lotus. Tran Quoc Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple. Visit Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature - The first Imperal school in Vietnam) built in 1070 during the dynasty of King Ly.
PM: Visit a complex of the Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple (Jade mountain Temple), But Tower (Pen - shaped tower), Dai Nghien (Ink Stand), the Red - painted wooden The Huc bridge…. Have a cyclo (pedicab) trip around with 36 streets of Hanoi old quarter. Enjoy the special Vietnam traditional Water Puppet show. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

DAY 08: HANOI - HALONG BAY
Morning drive to Halong bay (165km), Vietnam most scenic sight, a recognized World Natural Heritage Site. Upon arrival, board your deluxe traditional wooden junk. Welcome drink on board. After a relaxing break, enjoy a delicious seafood lunch while cruising through the wonderful Halong bay visiting its amazing grottoes and caves. Opportunity to dive off the boat and have a pleasant swimming in the deep blue water of East Sea before relaxing on your sun deck to view a Halong sunset. Dinner on board with excellent fresh seafood. Overnight on board.

DAY 09: HALONG BAY - HANOI - HUE
Get up early to catch the sunrise on the bay and relax with a cup of hot coffee or tea. We depart for a visit to the splendid Sung Sot grotto and a quick glimpse of a nearby fishing village. Enjoy another seafood lunch on board while cruising back through Halong bay to the pier. Transfer to Hanoi and drive straightly to the airport for afternoon flight VN1547 (20h25 - 21h35) to Hue, evening free at leisure in Hue. Overnight in Hue.

DAY 10: HUE CITY TOURS
In the morning, we take a beautiful boat trip on “Perfume River” to visit the elegant Thien Mu Pagoda, Forbidden Purple City as well as two of the most impressive tombs of the Nguyen emperors, Minh Mang and Khai Dinh. Overnight in Hue.

DAY 11: HUE - HOI AN
After breakfast at hotel, check-out and get on bus, we transfer you to Hoi An, visit Marble mountain and Cham Museum on the way. Check-in hotel and overnight in Hoi An.

DAY 12: HOI AN - MY SON SANCTUARY - HOI AN
Transfer from Hoi An to My Son Holy land, once the spiritual capital of Champa Kingdom that dominated South East Asia for nearly a thousand years and occupied most of the central parts of Vietnam from 2nd century to 16th century with very rich in history and culture. Contemplate its remarkable red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries. Drive back to Hoi An, visit the former merchants' homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien pagoda and the colourful riverside market. Overnight in Hoi An.

DAY 13: HOI AN - DA NANG - HO CHI MINH CITY
Transfer to the airport for your flight VN1311 (11h30 - 12h40) to Ho Chi Minh city. Met upon your arrival and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, we will do the city tour of Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon, visiting to Reunification Palace, the Thien Hau pagoda and the environment of Ben Thanh market. Tour ended at about 5 pm, we come back to our hotel for overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

DAY 14: HO CHI MINH - TAY NINH - CU CHI TUNNELS
Excursion to Tay Ninh, the head quarter of Cao Dai sect founded in 1923. Visit the ornate temple of Cao Dai and attend the fantastic Midday Mass ceremony when the followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, Christianism and Islamism. Continue to the famous Cu Chi tunnels an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese guerillas. The tunnels, virtually beneath the US bases for surprise attacks, contained hospitals, accommodation, schools and were used as a military base for Vietnam Communist Army in the US-Vietnam war. Return to Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

DAY 15: HO CHI MINH - CAN THO
Today we will start our exploration of the Mekong Delta, a major rice producing area. This must be one of the most fascinating riverine deltas in the world. The Mekong splits into nine major arteries. A vast network of rivers and waterways with thousands of ships of all sizes plowing the waters gives the Mekong Delta a very special atmosphere. We will make a boat trip to the Cai Be floating Market, visit villages and meet the people of the Mekong Delta. Continue your boat trip  to An Binh Island for Lunch in a local family and bike trip in the afternoon. Continue to Can Tho for overnight.

DAY 16: CAN THO - CHAU DOC
Starts from Ninh Kieu boat quay, we cruise along the small and picturesque tributaries, we will see the Cai Rang floating market (the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats). Take in the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the locals who lives along the Mekong canals and you will roam through the village to visit a rice husking mill and a rice noodles making shop. Then continue going to Chau Doc via Long Xuyen. Check in on arrival. Visit the Sam mountain to enjoy the a breath-taking view on the Vietnamese-Cambodian border with flat rice fields and nice canals, visit caved pagoda. Overnight in Chau Doc.

DAY 17: CHAU DOC - PHNOM PENH
Morning boat trip from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh, pick up and transfer hotel for check in. After a short rest, transfer to visit Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum and Russian Market. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

DAY 18: PHNOM PENH - SIEM REAP
After breakfast, you will transfer to the airport for flight departure to Siem Reap, upon arrival, check in hotel. Then free leisure by your own guest activities till suitable time for pick up at the hotel to have dinner with Apsara dance show at local restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 19: SIEM REAP - ANGKOR THOM - ANGKOR WAT
Morning visit to the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of Elephant, Terrace of Leper King and Pimean Akas. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon visit to the famous temple of Cambodia, Angkor Wat then continue to visit the Bakheng Hill temple with Sun Set included from the top of this hill, back hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 20: SIEM REAP - TONLE SAP CRUISE - PHAUK VILLAGE
This morning, we take a wonderful cruise on Tonle Sap lake for 1hour, visit floating village and  fisherman life, then back to visit Chantie Ecole-Artisan D’Angkor and Old Market. Lunch at local restaurant. This afternoon, transfer to visit the base of Silk Village Phauk, it’s the village of Marble work, silk weaving and silk sewing and back to visit West Baray. Back to the hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 21: SIEM REAP DEPARTURE
After breakfast at hotel, you are free to explore the city by your own until transfer to the airport for departure flight to your home. End of services.
