DETAIL ITINERARY
DAY 01: BANGKOK ARRIVAL
Upon your arrival at the airport in Bangkok, you are met and welcomed by Asiana Travel local tour guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day you are free at your leisure after long time flight. Overnight at hotel in Bangkok.

DAY 02: BANGKOK CITY TOUR
Breakfast at the hotel after that go to city tour in Bangkok. Visit three of the most unusual Buddhist temples in Bangkok: Wat Trimitr with its invaluable Golden Buddha (5 ½ tons of solid gold) - Wat Po, the most extensive temple in Bangkok, with its colossal Reclining Buddha and the Chedis of the Kings - Wat Benjamaborpit, the White Marble Temple, one of the finest examples of Thai architecture. Visit The Grand Palace is one of the most beautiful samples of an ancient Siamese court. It used to be the residence of the Kings of Bangkok. Here you will see palaces which were used for different occasions: the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House, and the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple. (Note: The Grand Palace is closed during special royal ceremonies and during visiting heads of state). Transfer back to the hotel. Overnight at hotel in Bangkok.

DAY 03: BANGKOK CITY TOUR
Breakfast at the hotel. Then go to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market only in Thailand you can see the floating Market. An exhilarating narrow long tailed speed boat ride through the small canal pass, Thai Houses and their Vegetable Farm, Flower Farm, Fruit Farm. At Floating Market with the Thai slyle canoes laden with colourful, succulent fruits, vegetable sweet and meats, genly ply their way through the canal. Water has always been a major part of Thai Life. Go to Sampran Elephant Crocodile Show for the first time ever. An elephant show complete with dramatic sound and narration. Be entertain to a host of shows and demonstra tions of elephant at work and at play. See for yourself how elephants are rounded up and used during battles in ancient Siam amidst a historical background. A most memorable entertainment will be the mockup battle of the mighty war between King Naraesuan. The Great and The Burmese Prince where elephants were used by both armies. DAY 04: BANGKOK - VIENTIANE
After breakfast at hotel, today you will check out and transfer to the airport to take onwards flight TG570 (11h45 - 12h55) to Vientiane. Picked up on arrival and transfer to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day you are free at your leisure. Overnight at hotel in Vientiane.

DAY 05: VIENTIANE CITY TOUR
After breakfast, we start visiting the major sights of the capital; including the oldest Wat Sisaket with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat PraKeo previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang stupa, we stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxai which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triomphe before doing shopping at Morning Market / Lao textile then we head out to the Mekong Riverside for the sunset. Overnight in Vientiane.

DAY 06: VIENTIANE - LUANG PRABANG
After breakfast at hotel, check out and transfer to the airport to take onwards flight QV101 (12h10 - 12h55) to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, visit stupa of Wat Visoun, the shrines of Wat Aham and Wat Mai; climb up the top of Mount Phousi: explore gilded stupa, view sunset over city and Mekong; then visit Night Street Market for handmade textiles of hill people. Sunset at Pu Shi hill. Overnight at hotel in Luang Prabang.

DAY 07: LUANG PRABANG - KHOUANGSI WATERFALLS
Whole day: Rise early and see monks receiving offerings, visit Phosi Market, then continue to the Khouangsi waterfalls; along the way visit minority villages Ban Na Oun, Ban Ou and Ban Thapene; splash around in the pools near the waterfalls, on returning to Luang Prabang stop at the weaving village of Ban Phanom. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

DAY 08: LUANG PRABANG - PAK OU CAVES - HANOI
After breakfast, take a boat trip on the Mekong to the Pak Ou caves; along the way stop at Ban Kanghai village to taste the local rice wine; on returning to Luang Prabang stop at Ban Xang Khong. After lunch at local restaurant. Free at your leisure until transfer to the airport to take flight VN930 (17h05 - 18h20) to Hanoi. Pick up on arrival and transfer to hotel for check-in. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

DAY 09: HANOI CITY TOUR
AM: After breakfast at hotel, get on bus and drive to the historic complex of Ba Dinh. Visit Ba Dinh Square, where The Late President Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnams Independence on 2nd September 1945, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and continue to the One Pillar Pagoda, the must-see monument in Hanoi - It is an ancient Buddhist pagoda, built in the early 11th century in the reign of King Ly Thai Tong, all construction supported by only one pillar, resembling a Buddhist lotus. Tran Quoc Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple. Visit Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature - The first Imperal school in Vietnam) built in 1070 during the dynasty of King Ly. Have lunch at local restaurant.
PM: This afternoon we drive to visit the Vietnam Ethnology Museum, it is widely acknowledged as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic minority peoples. As well as the comprehensive array of exhibits inside, there are also traditional tribal houses reconstructed within the grounds. Visit a complex of the Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple (Jade mountain Temple), ButTower (Pen - shaped tower), Dai Nghien (Ink Stand), the Red - painted wooden The Huc bridge…. Have a cyclo (pedicab) trip around with 36 streets of Hanoi old quarter. Enjoy the special Vietnam traditional Water Puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 10: HANOI - HALONG BAY
After breakfast, you will take a morning depart for Halong bay, we go through the scenic countryside. The wondrous Halong bay is truly one of Vietnam’s most impressive scenic sights. Heading out of the town we embark on a boat for an exploration of the legendary Halong bay. This exciting five hour cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. Stay overnight on the Junk Cruise.

DAY 11: HALONG BAY - HANOI - HUE BY FLIGHT
Waking up and having breakfast served onboard. Continue cruising around the bay. Take sampan to visit Luon Cave and come back to the boat. Having brunch before disembarking and van will pick you up at the pier. Then transfer back to Hanoi and drive straight to the airport to take onwards flight VN1547 (20h25 - 21h35) to Hue. You are picked up on arrival and transfer to check-in hotel. Overnight at hotel in Hue

DAY 12: HUE CITY TOUR
After breakfast at hotel, today you will take a morning boat trip on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda and Ming Mang Emperor's mausoleum. Have lunch at local restaurant then you will visit the Imperial Citadel, Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynasty Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace. Free shopping in Dong Ba market. Overnight at hotel in Hue.

DAY 13: HUE - DA NANG - HOI AN BY ROAD TRIP
This morning we drive to Hoi An, we will cross Hai Van Pass where you will have magnificent view of the East Sea. Stop at Lang Co to have break. Visit the fascinating Cham Museum, famous East Beach and the Marble Mountains en route to charming Hoi An. Known as Faifo to early Western traders, it was one of South East Asia's major international ports and today it still retains that special old-world feel. Enjoy a walking tour through the Old Quarter and try some of the local specialties. Hoi An is also famous for its large number of tailor shops, so if you want to have a new wardrobe made up, this is the time to do it. Overnight in Hoi An.

DAY 14: HOI AN TOUR
After breakfast at hotel, you will take a morning tour to visit local market and boat trip on Thu Bon River to visit handicraft villages. Then you will take Hoi An sightseeing of Japanese covered bridge, Handicraft workshops, Tan Ky old house, Fujian assembly hall and the 15th century Chuc Thanh Pagoda. Overnight at hotel in Hoi An.

DAY 15: HOI AN - DA NANG - HO CHI MINH
After breakfast at hotel, you are free at your leisure until check out and transfer to Da Nang airport to take onwards flight VN7327 (12h00 - 13h15) to Ho Chi Minh city. Picked up on arrival and transfer to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day you are free at your leisure. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

DAY 16: HO CHI MINH CITY TOURS - CU CHI TUNNELS
After breakfast, enjoy a 2-hour drive northwest of Sai Gon to the Cu Chi tunnels, through urbanized areas and a lush southern Vietnamese countryside. This tunnel complex was dug in 1948 for the guerrillas to hide from French air and ground sweeps. The tunnels also served as communication routes, food and weapon caches, and as hospitals and living quarters for guerrilla fighters throughout the American war. Visit the underground villages to better understand the tunnels’ history, life in the tunnels and the Vietnamese people’s resilience during combat. Have lunch at local restaurant.
PM: Sai Gon city tour with: Opera House, a three-story classical theatre built to entertain the French colonists (outdoor visit); the former Hotel de Ville constructed for the French bureaucrats of Indochina in 1901, now The People's Committee building with no public access; the Notre Dame Cathedral, a stunningly massive red-brick edifice with twin spires, a clear reminder that French once ruled this city (open only 3-4pm every day, otherwise just an outdoor visit); the Central Post Office influenced by Renaissance architecture; and the former Presidential Palace, headquarters of the Sai Gon Government during the American war. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.

DAY 17: HO CHI MINH - MEKONG DELTA - CAN THO
At around 08h00, we leave Sai Gon for My Tho. Upon arrival, board a motorboat and head out on the mighty Mekong to Xuan Dong Islet. In contrast to many of the overly visited Mekong islands, we choose Xuan Dong for its quieter, less crowded, and more authentic slice of Mekong life. Hop on a bike and savor the leisurely time to explore and pedal through this green and unspoiled island. Make frequent stops for photos and glimpses and of the daily lives of local villagers. We'll then take a small boat as you are rowed quietly along the thick mangroves of Vam Xep, a small canal with little village houses dotted along its sides. Get off the boat to enjoy some honeyed tea at the 'Coconut Artisan' village to check out the workshops where a range of coconut husk and fiber products are skillfully handcrafted. We next take a small sampan along Vam Chua canal, gliding peacefully along the hidden waterways surrounded by immense variety of tropical plants. The quiet, rural setting is a welcome and restorative retreat to the frenetic buzz of Sai Gon which seems far, far away. We then stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Back in the car at about 15h00 to drive to Can Tho. On arrival in the capital city of the Mekong Delta, do a walking city tour, including the local evening market to take photos of the busy trading activities before checking in the hotel. Overnight in Can Tho.

DAY 18: CAN THO - HO CHI MINH
Early morning board for a 3-hour cruise to Cai Rang a big floating markets with stops at a Bun Tau noodle factory and a short trek before arriving at a rice-husking mill. You can even try passing one of the many fragile monkey bridges along the canals photo shot. At the floating markets, you will discover a typical way of displaying and advertising farm products of local people gathering on the Mekong river to trade their goods. Then transfer back to Ho Chi Minh for hotel check-in. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.

DAY 19: HO CHI MINH - PHNOM PENH
After breakfast at hotel, you are free until check out hotel and transfer to the airport to take onwards flight VN3855 (12h40 - 13h25) to Phnom Penh. Picked up on arrival and tranfer to the the city center to take Phnom Penh City tour: The Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The treasures found inside include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90kilograms and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha. Then we continue to explore the Toul Sleng Prison Museum and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek-both grim reminders of Cambodia's bloody past under Pol Pot. It is almost inconceivable to confront the nature of true evil here in this gentle land, but the Buddhist memorial at Choeung Ek, commemorates the 1.7 million victims of the 1975-79 Pol Pot regime. This excursion may prove distressing for some. It is, however, an important piece of this country’s historical and cultural puzzle. Overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh.

DAY 20: PHNOM PENH CITY TOUR
This morning explore the National Museum’s collection of Khmer art, which displays over 5,000 objects including statues and other artifacts from Angkor Wat. Then we discover Phnom Penh’s Psar Toul Tom Pong, known as the Russian Market, a great place to hunt for souvenirs, curios, and silks. After lunch at a local restaurant, we visit the Toul Sleng Prison Museum and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek-both grim reminders of Cambodia's bloody past under Pol Pot. It is almost inconceivable to confront the nature of true evil here in this gentle land, but the Buddhist memorial at Choeung Ek, commemorates the 1.7 million victims of the 1975-79 Pol Pot regime. This excursion may prove distressing for some. It is, however, an important piece of this country’s historical and cultural puzzle. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

DAY 21: PHNOM PENH - SIEM REAP
Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for the flight K6 101 (07h30 - 08h15) of Cambodia Angkor Air to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel check in. The same morning, heading out of town we make our way by traveling on a newly paved road to the intricately carved and well preserved temple of Banteay Srei. Along the way we make stopover at the Preah Dark village and we follow these with a visit the Banteay Samre Temple adorned with impressive relief’s depicting scenes of Vishunu as well as Krishna legends. Afternoon, by car to the Pouk district about 15 Km in the West of Siem Reap town you visit the silk farm, a fascinating farm/workshop where you can see the entire silk creation process including growing the food for the silk worms, breeding the worms, silk extraction and refinement, traditional kit dying pattern creation and looming. Retail silk and souvenir shop. On the way back, visit the Western Baray (Baray Occidental) measuring 8 km by 2.3 km which provided water for the intensive cultivation of lands around Angkor. We also visit Landmine museum on the way. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

DAY 22: SIEM REAP - ANGKOR WAT TOUR
Breakfast at the hotel, this morning, we will explore wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King, then continue to Preah Khan was built in 1191 during the reign of King Jayavarman VII. He was a warrior king celebrated for reconstructing the Khmer Empire after a period of fragmentation. Jayavarman first made a name for himself in 1165, when news of a rebellion reached his ears. Rushing home from the Cham Kingdom, where he resided, he arrived too late to stop the usurper Tribhuvanadityavarman from crowning himself King of the Khmers. Afternoon, we will visit the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. Later this afternoon, we will complete our temple tours to the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with Colums, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple. Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 23: SIEM REAP - TONLE SAP LAKE - BANGKOK
Breakfast at the  hotel, we will drive to the floating village of Choueng Kneas village, where you will take the boat to visit the way of life Cambodian poor people along with schools, restaurants, hospitals and much more floating on the great lake of Tonle Sap. You may even see enterprising children floating in buckets selling soft drinks and floating pig pen, Visiting the "Chantiers Ecoles - Les Artisans d'Angkor" which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting. Then we transfer to the airport to take onwards flight K6 702 (17h10 - 18h20) to Bangkok. Picke up on arrival and transfer to the hotel for check-in hotel. Overnight at hotel in Bangkok.
