Detail Itinerary
Day 01: Ho Chi Minh (Sai Gon) arrival
Arrive Tan Son Nhat international airport, welcome by Asiana Travel local tour guide. Transfer to the hotel for check-in. Free at your leisure to explore the city. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 02: Ho Chi Minh city tours - Cu Chi tunnels
After breakfast, enjoy a 2-hour drive northwest of Sai Gon to the Cu Chi tunnels, through urbanized areas and a lush southern Vietnamese countryside. This tunnel complex was dug in 1948 for the guerrillas to hide from French air and ground sweeps. The tunnels also served as communication routes, food and weapon caches, and as hospitals and living quarters for guerrilla fighters throughout the American war. Visit the underground villages to better understand the tunnels’ history, life in the tunnels and the Vietnamese people’s resilience during combat.
PM: Sai Gon city tour with: Opera House, a three-story classical theatre built to entertain the French colonists (outdoor visit); the former Hotel de Ville constructed for the French bureaucrats of Indochina in 1901, now The People's Committee building with no public access; the Notre Dame Cathedral, a stunningly massive red-brick edifice with twin spires, a clear reminder that French once ruled this city (open only 3-4pm every day, otherwise just an outdoor visit); the Central Post Office influenced by Renaissance architecture; and the former Presidential Palace, headquarters of the Sai Gon Government during the American war.

Day 03: Sai Gon - Mekong delta (Can Tho)
Hotel check out and departure for the Mekong Delta via vehicle. Upon arrival at My Tho, cruising by paddles along small creek to Mekong River estuary, to Con Phung (Phoenix Island). Countinue to the city of Can Tho, the unofficial capital of the Mekong Delta in the very center the world’s newest river delta. Check in hotel. Overnight at hotel in Can Tho.

Day 04: Can Tho - Sai Gon
Starts from Ninh Kieu boat quay, we cruise along the small and picturesque tributaries, we will see the Cai Rang floating market (the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats). Take in the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the locals who lives along the Mekong canals and you will roam through the village to visit a rice husking mill and a rice noodles making shop. A chance to discover the daily life of Vietnamese people in Mekong Delta then drive back to Sai Gon. Overnight at hotel in Sai Gon.

Day 05: Ho Chi Minh city - Siem Reap
Breakfast at hotel then get on bus to transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for onwards flight to Siem Reap. You will be picked up by our local tour guide and transfer to hotel for check-in. Free and overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 06: Siem Reap - Angkor Wat tours
Today we will visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century). See the South Gate (with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk), Bayon Temple (the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. In the afternoon, visit the most famous of all the temples on the Angkor plain: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five tower symbolize Meru's five peaks, the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat symbolizes the ocean beyond Sunset from Phnom Bakheng, one of two hills dominating the plain of Angkor, from where you will have a spectacular view of the Western Baray and Angkor Wat. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 07: Siem Reap
In the morning, you will continue your temple visits. Included are Prasat Kravan (with its unique brick sculptures), Srah Srang ("The Royal Boths" was once used for ritual bathing), Banteay Kdei (surrounded by four concentric walls), Eastern Mebon (guarded at its corner by stone figures of harnessed elephants, some of which are still in a reasonable state of preservation) and the "Mountain Temple" of Pre Rup. In the afternoon, transfer to the archaeological site and continue to the temple tour. Visit Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in the area. Ta Prohm has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery, then, visit Takeo, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda temples. Stay overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 08: Siem Reap - Phnom Penh
Fly to Phnom Penh by morning flight. Afternoon sightseeing tours around the city to visit Genocidal Museum “Tuol Sleng” and then we will visit the Victory Monument and the National Museum, the Royal Palace, built by the French in 1866 on the site of the old town, and Silver Pagoda, which located within the Royal Palace ground. You will then end your tour with a visit to Wat Phnom Temple, Phnom Penh's namesake, from where you can enjoy views over the tree-lined avenues of the city during sunset. Overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh.

Day 09: Phnom Penh - Bangkok - Yangon
Breakfast at hotel and then transfer to the airport for onwards flight to Yangon via Bangkok. Transfer to city center for hotel check-in and free at your leisure to explore the city. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 10: Yangon - Shwedagon
After breakfast at hotel, sight seeing around Yangon city including of Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda - a colossal reclining Buddha Image, Sule Pagoda - surrounded by colonial era buildings in the heart of city. See hundreds of different lives of people, Yangon jetty. Evening visit to Shwedagon Pogoda - over 2500 years old, the world 's famous stupa. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 11: Yangon - Bagan
Early morning breakfast at hotel and transfer to the airport for flight departure for Bagan. In Nyaung U airport near Bagan, local guide and car will meet and transfer to the hotel in old Bagan. On the way, stop to visit Shwezegon Pagoda - the prototype for later Myanmar pagodas. After check in at the hotel, sight seeing tours around Bagan and Nyaung U area to visit high lights of Bagan including Ananda temple - a master piece of King Kyansittha, Thatbyinnyu temple - the highest builiding in the Bagan plain, Dhamma Yangyi temple - the most massive temple, Htilo Minlo temple - the largest temple of Bagan and Gubyaukgyi temple in Myinkaba village, etc. In the evening, watch sunset view of Bagan and its environ from a high platform of Shwesandaw Pagoda. There will be ancient temples all around you, the Ayeyarwaddy river being behind them, and Tent Kyi hills are on the western bank. Beyond that the sun sets. Overnight hotel in old Bagan.

Day 12: Bagan - Mount Popa - Bagan
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning excursion to Mt. Popa at 50 km south-east of Bagan. On the way to Mt Popa you will see lives in villages, toddy brewery. Mt. Popa is an extinct volcano of more than 1500 meters high above sea level. You will however visit the volanic plug (736 meters high cone shape small hill built up of lava and rocks) on the slope of the main Popa. There are many pagodas, monasteries, monkeys and sprit houses there. In the afternoon journey back to Bagan and visit to Bagan's famous lacquarware making cottage industries. Then board on local slow boat ride on the ayeyarwaddy river at sunset. Overnight at hotel in old Bagan.

Day 13: Bagan - Yangon
Breakfast at hotel, and then transfer to Nyaung U for flight return to Yangon in a late morning flight. Upon arrival the guide will meet and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, you can do sightseeing around Yangon, visit to China town, Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) market, 100 year old strand hotel, some remaining places with car and driver. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 14: Yangon
After breakfast drive to Botataung jetty where you can watch ferry boats crossing the Yangon River and proceed to Botataung Pagoda, where sacred hair relic of Lord Buddha is enshrined in it and visit the downtown area. Wide streets, orderly town planning and neglected public buildings revive visions of British rule, while busy streets scenes and shimmering pagodas, bursting through a leafy canopy, hint at the rich local culture. Skyscrapers and glaring neon billboards have yet to overtake the capital. In the afternoon you have again time to wander around the sprawling Bogyoke Market and through fascinating local neighborhoods. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 15: Yangon departure
After breakfast at hotel free at your leisure until transfer to the airport for the departure flight to your home. End of services.
